The John Lynch Steamboat, c. 1895

According to an article of September 3, 1877, The John Lynch was receving its finishing touches and would soon be completed. The boat is a stern wheeler 85 feet long, 18-1/2 foot beam, and 4 foot hold. Sometime prior to 1904, The John Lynch was burned from an exploded lantern and was run aground and scuttled; no one was injured.
