Granny's Grocery

Located at 265 High Ave. Granny's was located on the southwest corner of Wisconsin and High Ave. Leroy and Harold Grancorbitz started their grocery about 1947. The grocery closed in 1960 and the business was changed to liquor distributing. The building was built in 1910 for William Hughes and August A. Achterberg, as the Palace Tailoring Company.
